Heya, new website, new experiences …
A logo and website needed to be done to advertise one of my high prices services. As a basis I wrote a detailed description what it’s all about with information about overall style and use and concrete requirements. Target date to finish all: 6 days after start. The first project was the logo and webdesign only to be finished within 3 days. For the rest another 3 day project was intended and done.
My overall plan was, to get the full website up within a week, which is very well possible to do with a good web designer and to have 4 more weeks to drive good traffic to fill the seminar starting in after overall 6 weeks. Continue reading
Outsourcing Experiment x.1
One of the tasks I gave to scriptlance was to make me a Logo and a WordPress Theme – both fitting together. There was a one full page of description on my preferences and needs and also a deadline.
Agreed was: 2 versions of logo + WordPress Theme to be final within 6 days.

Another Outsourcing Experiment
Meanwhile I had some attempts to outsource stuff. I do have a permanent assistant in India, with whom I am not too happy. Currently I stay with him because some very selected things he/they can do and they do it for a quite reasonable price. Another guy told me that he has someone from the Philipines and those people are more precise in what they do.
For creating websites I go to scriptlance.com and post the job there. Just done so for a website with logo and I am curious how things will work out this time and hope the best …
